Conditions of hire- Responsibilities of the person hiring the trailer.  

The hirer agrees to indemnify NED-EX from all loss and damage to the hired trailer.

The person hiring the trailer hereby undertakes to ensure that no one else uses the trailer without prior consent from NED-EX.

The person hiring the trailer will at no time or in any respect hold NED-EX responsible forany personal injury or damage to their property or the property of anyone else whilst using the trailer.  

Insurance and responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged trailers  

The person hiring the trailer agrees to pay NED-EX the full replacement cost of any trailer that may be lost, stolen or damaged beyond economical repair, whilst in their care.

Costs will also include all loss of hire charges. The hirer must insure the trailer on this basis.

The trailer must be returned in the condition it left and must be inspected by a member of NED-EX before deposit returned, the hirer is responsible for the trailer until inspection is carried out.

 

The trailer must be returned the same day unless otherwise agreed by NED-EX.  

The trailer and goods are not insured by NED-EX whilst in your possession.  

The hired trailer will be used completely at the hirer’s own risk. This includes all moving parts and also includes punctures.

 

NED-EX cannot be held responsible for any accident injury or loss caused by mechanical failure.

It is in the hirer’s interest to examine the trailer before leaving our premises.

We reserve the right to charge an appropriate amount to cover any damage that may be caused whilst in the hirer’s charge.

All security devices provided by NED-EX must be used when stationary.

Two forms of ID must be produced to include a present address ie passport/driving licence. 

The hirer agrees to any copies of personal information to be retained by NED-EX until the return of the trailer. (This information is strictly for security and will not be passed on to any third parties.)

A returnable cash deposit of £100 is required before the hire commences.
